The public pay phone is broken. That in itself is quite amazing and well worth a photo. But what really clinched it for me was the sign they have put up apologizing for the 'great inconvenience' caused by this faulty phone. The figure bowing humbly seeking to assuage our ire is (surprise! surprise!) a woman. As is well documented, the vast majority of the technical staff working for the telephone companies is female, and so it makes sense, doesn't it?
